Common questions

Should I use my fresh 1 km pace?
No. Use the pace you can hold between stations, typically 20–45 seconds per kilometre slower than a fresh 1 km. Entering a fresh pace is the most common reason a prediction comes in optimistic.
What roxzone time should I assume?
Most age-group athletes lose 40–60 seconds per transition. Eight crossings turns that into five to eight minutes — usually the largest single block of unplanned time in a race.
Do the station defaults match my division?
Defaults are per-division starter estimates, not official standards. Replace them with your own numbers as soon as you have training data.
